The local Baptist church puts on this Bethlehem walk every year. It is a re-creation of the town of Bethlehem in the time of Jesus. They spend weeks preparing for it; and it runs for four nights in mid December.
The townspeople are all in character; they welcome you to Bethlehem, and caution you to be careful not to offend the centurions or you could be imprisoned.
There are all different kinds of shops, and live animals which come from farms in our area.
Snow again! It snowed all night, and we have about five inches on the ground. Roger is shovelling snow into the back of the truck to make it heavier. We might try to make it into town this afternoon if it stops snowing. It's supposed to warm up and turn to rain, and then go up to about 11 degrees C. by tomorrow. Crazy weather!
